Real Madrid star Hazard singled out as Mikel´s laziest former team-mate

Ex-Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has labelled incredible Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard the laziest of all his former team-mates.

Hazard and Mikel, now of Trabzonspor, shared the Stamford Bridge dressing room for over four seasons.

The Belgium international arrived in 2012 and went on to make 352 appearances for the club, scoring 110 goals.

In June, he completed a coveted €100million move to LaLiga giants Madrid.

Mikel raved about the 28-year-old s undoubted ability but gave a less positive assessment of his work ethic when asked to name the laziest player he trained alongside.

Hazard has incredible talent, the Nigerian told beIN SPORTS in Turkey.

Maybe not as good as [Lionel] Messi, but he can do whatever he wants with the ball a…

Postecoglou confirms Bissouma suspension for Spurs´ Premier League opener

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Yves Bissouma has been suspended for Tottenham s opening game of the Premier League campaign against Leicester.

Bissouma, who made 28 appearances last season, posted a video of himself inhaling nitrous oxide on social media last weekend.

The incident occurred hours after Spurs final pre-season clash, where they lost 3-2 to Bayern Munich in the Visit Malta Cup.

The 27-year-old later issued an apology, saying: I want to apologise for these videos. This was a severe lack of judgement.

I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved, and I also take my responsibility as a footballer and role model very seriously.”

Walker makes record-breaking switch to Manchester City

Manchester City have signed Kyle Walker from Tottenham in a deal that could reportedly rise to £50m – making the England international the most expensive full-back of all-time.

The 27-year-old could also usurp new City team-mate Raheem Sterling as the costliest English footballer in history after penning a five-year contract, if all performance-based add-ons in the agreement with Spurs are activated.

Walker, who ends an eight-year spell at White Hart Lane, has long been a speculated target for City, with boss Pep Guardiola committed to refreshing his full-back options after releasing experienced trio Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna at the end of last season.

City suffered a blow in their search for reinforcements this week when Dani Alves opted …

Barcelona travel to Manchester United for the first leg of their Champions Leaguequarter-final.

Manchester United

Starting with the hosts, while many around Old Trafford were excited by the news that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had joined on a permanent basis last month, Manchester United find themselves in their first tricky patch since the Norweigan s arrival. Coming off the back of a 2-1 loss away at Wolves last week, the Reds have now lost three of their last four across all competitions and now sit outside the top four in the Premier League. While United have managed to remarkably win just two of their last 11 Champions League knockout ties, Tuesday s hosts do hold an unbeaten record against Barcelona at Ol…

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feels Manchester United are getting better and better after edging past Burnley 1-0 on Tuesday to move top of the Premier League.

Paul Pogba made the breakthrough at Turf Moor 19 minutes from time to move United three points clear of Liverpool ahead of Sunday s showdown between the bitter rivals.

It is the first time the Red Devils have occupied top spot this deep into the season since December 2012 in Sir Alex Ferguson s final campaign in charge.
